I began my fitness and nutrition journey in college after having enjoyed the college life a little too much and seeing the results on my body. Over time, I realized I introduced an excessive amount of toxins into my body, which resulted in a sluggish body. In 2010, I began adding Bikram yoga classes to my fitness routine in attempt to detoxify my body. My body responded positively and I
became hooked ever since, and has since explored vinyasa, Ashtanga, and jivamukti yoga, and even a Kundalini class! As a yogi enthusiast, I constantly seek to absorb as much as I can through my practices and share all that I have learned over the years to those who are open to embark on the journey. Sometimes it seems as if I believe yoga is the answer to everything…but it probably is.
Through yoga, I was introduced to the concept of juicing and clean eating. Prior to that, I’ve stumbled along my journey, from counting calories to eating pre-made, processed food manufactured by weight loss companies. However, the journey was invaluable and has taught me so many things through trial and error, which I now seek to share through this blog. The journey is not complete, and it may never be.
